PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa -- a name synonymous with golf -- has earned a reputation for unsurpassed golf and brought fame to Ponte Vedra Beach with its world- renowned 99 holes. From the manicured bent grass and Bermuda greens of THE PLAYERS STADIUM COURSE AT THE TPC SAWGRASS to the towering pines and extraordinary wildlife of Marsh Landing Country Club, Sawgrass Marriott, “THE PLAYERS Choice,” offers the ultimate resort for a golfer’s getaway -- a mix of play that is pleasurable for both the proficient golfer and weekend duffer.
Set along Florida’s Atlantic coast between Jacksonville and historic St. Augustine, the 4,800-acre Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa is the second largest golf resort in the United States and the Official Hotel of the Tournament Players Club (TPC) Sawgrass. As one of T+L Golf’s Top 10 World’s Best Golf Resorts, Sawgrass is also home to the PGA TOUR and Senior PGA TOUR offering a myriad of player sightings including golf greats Jim Furyk, Vijay Singh and Fred Funk.
A tough complement to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course is the par-72 DYE’S VALLEY COURSE AT TPC SAWGRASS, crafted by Pete Dye and Jerry Pate. Water comes into play on 6,838 yards along 18 holes, while fairways filled with hills and valleys create additional challenges. Uncharacteristic of a Dye abstract, few roughs exist so there are less interruptions to executable shots. The Dye’s Valley Course is in excellent condition following more than $1 million in enhancements completed in the spring of 2006, including extensive landscaping improvements and bunker reconstruction. Walt Disney World has five outstanding championship golf courses (three of these courses are on the PGA Tour) and a par-36 practice course.
We played the Magnolia course on this show which is the longest of all the Disney courses and second longest on the PGA Tour. The design is classic, with very wide fairways. Take caution though - eleven of the eighteen holes have water, and with 97 bunkers scattered around the scenic landscape and greens you will have a challenging round of golf ahead of you.o Joe Lee created this beautifully designed 7,190 yard course. It gets its name from its more than 1,500 magnolia trees that line the course. It is home each year to the final round of the PGA Tour. Learn More.

With a 27-hole championship golf course, designed by Joe Lee, has mountain peaks for a backdrop. It winds its way through peaceful valleys by rushing streams and clear lakes and soars to the top of cliffs where you can watch your drive sail into eternity.
The Choctaw, Cherokee and Creek 9-hole courses offer a wide range of difficulties to test golfers of all levels. The sights and sounds of rushing creeks, waterfalls and abundant wildlife complement the beauty of the course.
The course has been rated as one of the top 20 courses in Georgia. The Sconti Golf Club is managed by pro Dave O'Connor and sponsors tournaments and special events throughout the year. This is truly one of the most beautiful courses we've played. Learn More.
